Cat tossed from truck on I-95 ramp ready to be adopted...

After surviving being thrown onto a highway ramp, then spending months
in recovery, the cat named Freeway is looking for a home. On Oct. 15,
Freeway and several kittens were tossed from a white Chevrolet pickup
on the ramp from Oakland Park Boulevard to southbound Interstate 95 in
Oakland Park, a witness told investigators. The kittens died, but
Freeway survived...

Robbery suspect gives up after i-95 chase...

A robber pistol-whipped an elderly man in Miami Beach, then led cops
on an interstate chase before surrendering, police said. Just after 9
a.m., a man and his wife were confronted by an armed robber on North
Bay Road. The man resisted. The robber hit him in the head with a gun,
said Miami Beach Sgt. Robert Hernandez, a spokesman. The robber jumped
into a black Ford Taurus, speeding down Alton Road. On the Venetian
Causeway, Miami Beach Detective Ozzie Ramos and Sgt. Ive Garcia -- in
an unmarked car -- spotted the suspect and began following. On
Interstate 95, the marked units gave chase. He exited on Northwest
79th Street and made his way to 14th Avenue before giving up...
